The Book That Shook MI5

The Bank Of England’s Virtual Money Theory

Magistyk

Wossit Werf?

In the wake of the financial attack on London launched on 30th September 2008 the City have decided not to follow the Zimbabwean government’s lead by printing tons of money in response to the financial crisis. Instead it has made the Bank of England credit £75 billion to banks. This is a virtual amount because there’s no gold backing it up in the Bank of England’s reserves, they just added extra zeros to some accounts, sorted. Legalised fraud? Yes, but still, as long as they promise to pay the bearer. The problem remains… none of these masters of finance, i.e the Lord Fred the Shreds of this world have the slightest idea what effect this latest gamble will have on the crestfallen British economy. Isn’t life exciting?

  1. I wonder how long until we need trolleys full of cash to buy a loaf of bread?

    • By November 2009 when Obama and Brown will have failed to resurrect the banking system instead of building a new one from scratch.

      • Oh no i believe the banking system will be ressurected…by the same people that deliberately brought it crashing down in september 2008, and we all know who that is….

  2. Dan (Daniel?), I just want to let you know that I think you’re one of the bravest men around. This country really could do with many more like you.
Hope you’re making ready for what’s to come, financialy speaking that is.

I have a question for you actualy. It’s something that has always botherd me. I feel as though I already know the answer but it would be helpful to have another opinion:
From one of the 7/7 tube trains emerged a hero. A shining beakon of resilience and hope. The BBC almost used him as a figure head for a few days following 7/7. He showed great strength of character despite losing his legs in the blast, and expressed the following national feeling that “we shall carry on”. But here’s the thing that has always nagged me, even back then (when I was still asleep so to speak). On the last occasion I saw him interviewed his entire persona had changed. He suddenly looked withdrawn and camera shy. He acted so differently that it actualy shocked me to see this change. After this I never saw or heard of him again?. My thoughts are that sombody had “spoken” to him about something. Something that altered his whole take on life. I can imagine that the realisation that you will never walk again could easily cause that change, but somehow I don’t feel that was the whole problem. Any thoughts?.

P.S. Love the picture, it just so weird and yet so clever. Pleaes keep on keeping on, bro.

    • Yeah… I remember him too. The guy’s name was Gary. It sounds like the last time you saw him was after the Evening Standard revealed his 1989 rape conviction. He lost his leg, his job and the media adulation he craved.
      Bummer.

  3. Now’t to do with this blog ,but, are you being censored?

    • Yeah, I had to check what was going on I’m trying to work out how one post had its content removed. The MOD like Honey to a bee post that featured 3 MI5 personnel sitting in a row. Your comments are still there though.
