Big, Bigger, Biggest Brother

I’ve been reviewing site user activity stats for the first week.

A cluster of UK based IP addresses were instantly recognisable. They’ve kept an eye on the site since its summer launch.
What was curious was the high amount of activity in the first two hours from where of all places… China? The BBC radio broadcast I did on Sunday July 9th wasn’t included in the BBC’s podcast service and definitely wasn’t translated into mandarin.

I suppose it’s inevitable that biggest brother is watching bigger brother, who is watching big brother watching little ole me.

  1. Daniel,

Thanks for going public with your story. It takes courage and has been very stimulating. You have moved things forward.

A couple of thing that have been on my mind.

Do you know anything about a bus survivors’ group? Have you heard about, or attended, any meetings with ministers?

  2. I know a some of the females downstairs and two upstairs met up at the staged memorial thing a few weeks after 7:7 and in July just gone but I did not attend either event.

No photo opportunities or meetings with ministers.

  3. How do you know your site is watched exactly? I’ve heard there is a way to tell if someone is watching your computer, using some program or other. How can anyone tell?

  4. Yes, digital trails.
The same way they track online shoppers, web browsers, hackers or paedophiles.

    The tools are widely available.
