16th Feb – I’m outside New scotland Yard the Counter-Terror HQ with members of the National Union of Journalists protesting against the British governments introduction of section 76 of the Counter Terrorism Act.

From the Febuary 16th 2009 it became a criminal offence to photograph British secret agents, servicemen or police. This is yet another attack on press and public freedoms.

This parliamentary act makes room for another state sponsored terror attack on innocent members of the public, only this time citizen journalists who on July 7th provided pictorial evidence with cameraphones would now thanks to this bill be arrested and have their property seized and any evidence it contained destroyed.
