Fortunately I met a girl shortly after escaping the bus, seconds after it had been
blown up by British Intelligence operatives in Tavistock Square on 7/7.
She was just standing a few doors down the street at the time of the blast.
She said her name was Hilda. In scenes reminiscent of the tube bombings we both sought solace in each others arms that morning. We kept in touch and romance bloomed or so it seemed. Things didn’t quite turn out the way I expected.

When Hilda contacted me a few weeks ago out of the blue via my blog. I decided it would be a good
to allow people to read the 70+ emails we exchanged over the months following the London bombings.

Sweetie, lets go to Yo Sushi down Poland st, w1v instead, cos its better than MOSHI MOSHI SUSHI and its nearer to Leister Sq if we are going to watch a film.
Remember if we are watching a film book it for 8:00, as we would have time to chill and eat and make our way to the cinema. And it would not be too late to get on the tube to make our way home.
We would have to get the tube to Oxford circus station for Yo Sushi. Do you still want to come down to my work place?? I think it would be easier to just meet each other out side Oxford circus station.

Thanks for Sunday evening. It was meyhem but hey, it was OK,  at least
