He'd been hanging around Martina (the Polish girl living downstairs) since late the previous year. At the time I don't think Martina realised or hadn't been briefed. She even brought him a Christmas present poor thing! But the MI5 spook never stayed around long enough to pick it up, because the head of MI5 <a href="http://www.the4thbomb.com/good-riddance-eliza-manningham-buller/" rel="nofollow">resigned</a> on December 17th 2006 and the operation was pulled. By late Febuary 2007 her gift still sat all forlorn the at the bottom of the cupboard still wrapped. Then 2 months later by April 2007 he'd returned. Seemingly he'd found a way back to her heart just in time to try and steal two USB sticks containing copies of my book The 4th Bomb launching at the London Book Fair in Earls Court later that month.
