Instead of printing a dozen draft copies, 300 were printed as the number 300 is of great significance in warfare being the number of men in a battalion. Indeed, the term “draft” refers to those hurriedly drafted into battle with minimal readiness in time of war. Accordingly only the first 4 chapters of the draft copies were edited as these were so vital, detailing precisely what took place between the 3 tube bombings and the 4th bomb detonated an hour later on a bus in Tavistock Square. In an effort to cover-up the truth the M.O.D operatives snapped up most of these copies which in turn funded 1 thousand copies of the 1st edition.
